For 13 Saturday mornings in late 1991 — almost immediately after the Kid 'n Play toon was cancelled — children were treated to this short-lived cartoon about rec center worker Stanley Burrell (that's MC Hammer's goverment name) and the magic dancing shoes that turned him into the superhero Hammerman, who rid Oaktown of criminals and social injustices.
