Chicago ranks 66 out of 67 in mail delivery efficency. When you mail something it should only takes two days but it may take three or more. The Postal Service have hired 500 new mail carriers and did an overhaul on the sorting machines to help resolve the issue. The new strategy has only seen little increase. The Postal Service mentions that they have new routes in place and 2 large carrier units were sold and many of the carriers were moved out the loop station.  The Postal Service also states they are focused on reducing expenses and faster service.
