Hadiya Pendleton was a victim of sensless acts of violence. Her tragedy brought much attention to the welfare of innoncent people in this country. The federal goverment has voted to strengthen federal pentalties oni\ illegal firearms purchases. A person who legally buy firearms but give it to someone else for use in crimes could face up to 25 years imprisoment. This new bill was names to Hadiya Pendleton by lawsmakers. Will this new bill make any impact that is unknown but its a step in the right direction.
