Looking forward to Monday Night Football, the Chicago Bears will be facing the San Francisco 49ers!

It'll be interesting to see if Jay Cutler and Alex Smith will start their respective quarterback positions, both suffered concussions in previous games!

According to the Chicago Sun-Times, Alex Smith of the San Francisco 49ers was cleared to return to practice Wednesday, although he wore a non-contact jersey.

The Bears, meanwhile, didn’t practice and didn’t provide any indication of quarterback Jay Cutler’s status for the game.

“[Cutler] is getting better,” Bears coach Lovie Smith said. “We’re still evaluating him. He’s meeting with people — medical staff, our trainers and all of that — but he’s getting better.

“We do have a little bit more time, and that’s always good.”

The Bears weren’t required to provide an injury report because they play Monday night. But they’ll need to list Cutler’s injury and publicize the extent to which he can or can’t practice Thursday.
