I have a dear friend from childhood who is incredible. She has been with me through everything. She is starting to date again after a nasty divorce from a white man, and she is dating a Black man. I think it is ok, but on another level, I wonder if I should feel bad and angry that she is dating a Black man. Am I ok with being ok for her dating a Black man? My friends tell me she is snackin one of the best of our men, but I know she deserves to be happy. She has been a teacher and mentor and tutor to many of our Black children in the church and community, and sees people from the inside out, but my other friends keep telling me that she isn't good enough for a Black man, and he is a BMW. I have seen them together, and I know they have a connection. Where should I place my opinion? I really believe she should be with this BMW, but my "Black" friends think she is snakin a good Black man from our "pool"
