Ramonski Luv has been on radio over 29 years. He began his career as a morning producer for several radio hosts, including, Doug Banks. Ramonski was the first Chicago radio personality to embrace and take Hip-Hop to the next level, when he hosted Chicago’s first rap show, “Rap Down”. This show was the first of its kind and it opened many doors for Chicago artists and many more. Now he is the host of the “The Real Show”, with his partner Joe Soto which can be heard Monday-Friday from 6pm-9pm on V103.
Ramonski has enjoyed the many opportunities that he’s been given during his career thus far at V103, and the many partnerships he’s developed over the years. Some of those partners include various automotive dealers, for whom he's done television commercials and radio ads. He has also done promotions for Nike, Reebok, and AND 1 where he emceed the AND 1 Mix Tape Tour basketball game, which was held in Chicago. The event was a huge success and a great amount of credit went to Ramonski for displaying his creativity and professionalism. His unique style and charisma has made him one of the most marketable radio personalities in the Chicago area, and paved the way for his work with such companies as Heineken, Budweiser and Captain’s Morgan Rum. He has hosted many after-work events and promotions on behalf of these companies but realizing the importance of working with corporate partners Ramonski has always tried to remain as diversified as possible. The following companies show how diversified he has been throughout his career: CEDA, McDonalds, Pizza Hut, Dunkin Donuts, Burrell Advertising, R.J. Dale Advertising, Jewel, State Farm and Honey Baked Ham. Throughout his storied career, Ramonski has always kept his finger on the pulse of what’s going on in the community.
He has worked with and supported many programs involving students. In 2006, he hosted his first “Back to School is Cool – Say No to Drugs & Yes to Education” promotion. Having participated in numerous speaking engagements for elementary and high school students Ramonski may not know how much of an impact his presents has made directly on the students but he does know the importance of being a positive role model. In 2010, he and his wife started a not for profit foundation, Four Rivers, Inc. (501c3). When not working for a change Ski is a proud and faithful member of Solomon’s Kingdom. It’s late pastor, Prophet Joseph Bailey remains an inspiration to him. He is also a loving and dedicated husband and a father of 4 girls. Ramonski says that “ I Am that I Am, God is able in spite of what you are going through in your life, if you change the way you think, you can change your life. P.U.S.H pray until something happens".
