Its Official, Zoe Saldana is playing the role of Nina Simone in the new movie “Nina.” Many don’t quite agree with the casting due to the fact that the two look nothing alike; Zoe is clearly Spanish and Nina is clearly not, however Zoe was spotted on set wearing an afro and makeup giving her darker skin. My name is Kris Kelley,your midday host for V103. I'll be keeping you company during your workday, Monday-Friday from 9AM-2PM.
I've got a PASSION for music, so I'll definitely be playing the BEST...all your favorite R&B from today and all the Old School you love: Luther Vandross, Jill Scott, Marvin Gaye, Mary J. Blige, Michael Jackson, Maxwell, Mary Mary...you name it!I'm originally from Philadelphia, but I attended the University of Pittsburgh, majoring in English. I got my start in radio at WAMO in Pittsburgh. In 1998, I moved to Detroit where I hosted the midday shift at WJLB. I moved to Chicago in 2007 and I love it! The people, culture, restaurants (especially), the lake, the nightlife and entertainment. Oh, and did I mention the food??
