There has been an unexpected Meningitis outbreak. As of Monday, the number of people affected by the outbreak reached 105. Few deaths have also been connected to the outbreak. Recent news shows that Tennessee has the most cases, followed by Michigan, then Virginia, followed by Indiana, then Florida, Maryland, Minnesota, North Carolina and Ohio. A steroid medication is suspected to be the cause of the outbreak. And nearly 17,700 single-dose vials of this steroid were sent to 23 states.
