Mayor Rahm Emanuel has announced news plans to expand the Chicago Riverwalk along the main branch of the Chicago River. The expansion will build a continuous walkway connecting the lakefront with downtown. The design plans include ideas for each of the six blocks from State Street west. Each block is said to have its own theme: The Marina (from State to Dearborn); The Cove (Dearborn to Clark); The River Theater (Clark to LaSalle); The Swimming Hole (LaSalle to Wells); The Jetty (Wells to Franklin) and The Boardwalk (Franklin to Lake). This could be nice! I have a good feeling about this. What do you think?

Blige, Michael Jackson, Maxwell, Mary Mary...you name it!I'm originally from Philadelphia, but I attended the University of Pittsburgh, majoring in English. I got my start in radio at WAMO in Pittsburgh. In 1998, I moved to Detroit where I hosted the midday shift at WJLB. I moved to Chicago in 2007 and I love it! The people, culture, restaurants (especially), the lake, the nightlife and entertainment. Oh, and did I mention the food??
