It's going to be safe to gather with friends and family over the Thanksgiving holiday according to medical experts -- although COVID cases are rising.
There is a surge in cases in several states including Illinois and some health experts are advising against going without a mask if you plan on going to a large event. They say traveling is okay though, but the CDC is recommending holiday travel for only the vaccinated.
