First Black US Secretary of State, Colin Powell Dies From COVID-19

Colin Powell has died from complications of COVID-19 at 84.

Colin Powell served as a US military leader and was the first black US Secretary of State. His family confirmed the news in a facebook post.

"We have lost a remarkable and loving husband, father, grandfather and a great American," they said, noting he was fully vaccinated.
