Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot is not having second thoughts about hundreds of thousands of people descending on Grant Park for Lollapalooza. Even though there is a spike in COVID-19 cases, the show will go on.
The 4-day festival begins Thursday and wraps up on Sunday. More than 100-thousand festival goers are expected each day. According to the Chicago Sun-Times, the mayor did say, however that she won't hesitate to impose mask wearing at the festival, although attendees are supposed to already be vaccinated or pass a COVID screening.
