Until the Hollywood Foreign Press Association can enact systemic reform from the decades of alleged racism and sexism and a host of other ills, the Golden Globes have been cancelled. We live in such a "cancel culture" environment these days but this is one of those cancellations that I can actually agree with.
WarnerMedia, Netflix and Amazon have all cut ties with the HFPA because of the accusations and blatant problems plaguing the organization and NBC refuses to air the show until the issue is resolved. There are plans to have a show in 2023 but 2022 is not happening. They need to get to work.
