Footlocker Turns Stores Into Voter Registration Sites

Big props to Footlocker.

Beginning Sept. 22nd all U.S. Footlocker stores will become temporary voter registration sites. This is in an effort to increase black voter participation and to also make voter participation appealing to young people.

We all know young people love walking into a Footlocker store to get the latest sneakers, but until the election they can walk in, purchase their shoes and walk out a registered voter! But remember, getting registered to vote is not only a young people or black people thing, everybody should register AND vote! So if you're near a Footlocker store, pop in and do so.

Election day is 43 days away.
