This week we celebrate the nurses. Of course we all know nurses deserve high praise on a given day for all they do to help us get healthy, but during the coronavirus pandemic nurses have risen to the occasion in a major way. Wednesday begins National Nurses Week, where we give love and recognize nurses for their work.
Thousands of healthcare workers have been infected with COVID-19 and they have risked their lives to care for others during this pandemic. These front line workers deserve so much, and many stores and restaurants are offering everything from free meals to discounted and free shoes, and some nurses have been given cars to use for several months so they can get to work safely.
