Get Your Appetite Ready For Taste of Chicago This Week

It's that time of the year when people will be walking around Grant Park with gigantic turkey legs, thick slices of cheesecake and a rib or two in their hands. Yup, it's time for Taste of Chicago. Known as the city's largest outdoor festival, Taste of Chicago welcomes people from all around the world who want to get a taste of food Chicago style.

The festival begins Wednesday and runs through July 14. Although admission is free, you have to purchase tickets for food purchases. This year Taste is even bigger. In addition to 82 participating restaurants, there will be 24 pop-ups and 17 food trucks.

In addition to all of the great food varieties, there will also be entertainment including India.Arie, Taylor Bennett, De La Soul, Meshell Ndegeocello, Bilal and many more artists. And you may want to take public transportation to Taste of Chicago because hundreds of thousands of people are expected to attend each day.
